These are not four isolated programs, each one makes the next possible. It starts with a city you can afford to stay in, and it ends with a city you never want to leave.
Affordable
Madison should be a city every family can afford to call home. We will open a door to ownership for first-generation homebuyers, fight to lower property taxes, put money back in renters’ pockets, and cut the fees that nickel-and-dime working families.
Healthy
A vibrant, growing economy and a workforce ready to power it. Neighborhoods that are safe, clean, and connected, with buses, bike lanes, and streets that get you where you need to go. Activities that promote healthy living, wellbeing, and joy.
Prosperous
Pathways to prosperity that reach every home and those experiencing homelessness. A mayor who prioritizes and supports education and child care, including every child reading at grade level and young people with a path to college, career, or a trade. Every family building wealth that lasts.
Together
Neighborhoods that gather: in parks, on porches, at block parties, and in public spaces full of life and fun. A mayor who shows up on your street and at your business, listens, and gets to work – with you and for you. A city where every resident is seen, heard, and has a real seat at the table.
